How to choose a solo ad seller

Seller selection works better as a filtering process than a hunt for a single magic metric. Start with audience fit, then use marketplace evidence to narrow the field.

Start with niche fit

Ask whether the seller’s audience has a plausible reason to care about your offer. A mismatch can make every later metric less useful.

Read ratings in context

Ratings can show marketplace history, but volume and recency matter. Read recent feedback and look for patterns instead of treating the headline score as a complete quality measure.

Look at repeat orders and sales history

Udimi exposes repeat order data and a “got sales” filter based on recent orders. These can be useful comparison signals. They do not establish what your campaign will achieve.

Check geography

If your offer depends on specific countries, confirm the traffic mix before ordering. Udimi says its traffic origin filter is based on statistics from recent delivered orders.

Compare price after fit

A cheaper click is not automatically a cheaper customer. Compare cost in the context of the actions that matter to your funnel.

Use your own results as the final filter

Marketplace data helps you choose a test. Your tracking tells you whether the traffic worked for your specific page, offer and follow up.
